This was this year's sermon for the first week of Advent: HOPE. Even though some people won't like my non-traditional take on creation, I truly believe it is important to see Jesus as the "New Adam."

This was this year's sermon for the second week of Advent: Peace. During the last couple of Christmas seasons, I've been tremendously encouraged by what John the Baptizer's father had to say about both John and Jesus.

This was this year's sermon for the third week of Advent: LOVE.I've read a book with a similar title and appropriated it for my own sermon on John 3:16. However, I felt like I needed to focus on the verses BEFORE John 3:16 at this time in our lives.

For the Sunday celebrating "Joy," I chose as my text, one verse, Luke 2:10. In the angel's promise of "good news" of GREAT JOY, I see a promise for us, even when we don't FEEL joyful.
